Making a difference - Airdrie Foodbank

Opened in September 2014, Airdrie Foodbank is run by Calderbank Parish Church and its volunteers, in association with the Trussell Trust. It exists to provide a lifeline to hungry people in the local community, providing food, a listening ear, and signposting to help clients tackle to root causes of their food poverty. The organisation was last month awarded £5,000 in our Community Vehicle fund towards the replacement of its van.

You can find out more about the organisation here.
