Please note that if you have an application in progress with us, we will notify you of the outcome of this via email.
As we are receiving increased numbers of applications, we have taken the decision to extend our published timescales for decisions to 10-12 weeks for applications received across all of our Funds. We plan to review this in the Autumn and aim at that point to return to our normal published turnaround times.
£1,875,600 was awarded to 56 organisations in July 2025, with a success rate of 63%.
Each of the organisations below demonstrated in their application how their work is contributing to the alleviation of poverty and trauma in Scotland.

Award in Focus - Letham 4 All
“At Letham4All, our mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone in our community can feel a sense of belonging, well-being, and connection. Support from The Robertson Trust helps us continue offering opportunities, activities, and services that bring people together, reduce isolation, and empower local residents to thrive.
We are led by the community for the community from cradle to grave, from a cafe to Zumba. We are proud to be working with our community to make it a healthier, stronger, and more financially secure environment to grow and prosper." Gordon Ferguson, Manager at Letham 4 All
"Through our Community Spaces Grants, we support local community centres, hubs, and anchor organisations. Our focus is on places experiencing higher levels of poverty and trauma, where these spaces have the potential to make a big difference. Letham 4 All is a strong example of a community-led organisation at the heart of its community. From wellbeing activities to practical support, they have a strong understanding of the issues local people are experiencing and respond directly with a range of tailored support and services. We are delighted to be supporting Letham 4 All and look forward to seeing and learning from the difference they continue to make for their community." Susan Lennartson, Funding Officer at The Robertson Trust

The most common decline reason was that the applicant’s request was not clearly linked to reducing or preventing poverty and trauma for the people they support, in line with our funding themes and priorities. 88% of unsuccessful applications were declined for this reason. We are interested in supporting organisations whose work clearly addresses our funding themes (and priorities), which we detail within the applicant guidance for each of our Funds. For some more examples of the types of work we have supported recently, please see our latest awards here.
