Change Takes Trust sets out the next phase of our journey towards systems change, building on the ambitions of our 2020 Strategy. It shows how our 2025–28 delivery plan will help us deepen our role as a social change organisation

Through our Work Pathways theme, we want to see a Scotland where paid work is a more reliable route out of poverty. We want to contribute to tackling the drivers of in-work poverty and to removing barriers so that more people can access fair work. This report starts to tell the story about the differences we are contributing to as we seek to prevent and reduce poverty and trauma in Scotland.

Commissioned by Lankelly Chase and The Robertson Trust and authored by Heriot-Watt University, Hard Edges Scotland also details the challenges that charitable services and the public sector are facing.

How do public perceptions differ from that of the care sector when thinking about children's care in Scotland?

In 2017, the Robertson Trust approved a £120,000 award to Youth Scotland to help provide resources to extend support for universal youth work in rural communities.

The Youth Scotland Rural Action Fund has been a real success and demonstrates the impact that small amounts of funding can have when youth groups are able to meet their own identified needs.
