Summer Internship Scheme 2020: What’s it like hosting a Robertson scholar?

Please note that The Robertson Trust has published its new Giving Strategy. This sets out the priorities we will have when awarding funds through our open grants programme. The existing application form and guidelines can still be used until July 31st. In line with our existing procedures, we will aim to assess and present all applications received by this date to our September Board meeting. In the event that we are unable to do so, your application may be held until our November meeting. In such cases a member of staff will contact you and provide any assistance required to realign your application with the new Giving Strategy. Find out all you need to know here.

JLL is a world leader in real estate services with over 90,000 employees in 80 countries.

In 2017, it participated in our Summer Internship Scheme for the first time, hosting third-year Robertson Scholar, Meg Beattie, for two months in its Glasgow office.

Following the success of this, the organisation last year welcomed Connor MacDougall through the scheme and is now planning to host again in 2020. Both Connor and Meg are now employed by JLL; the former for one day a week during the final year of his studies and the latter full-time through JLL's graduate programme. Hear from all three about their experiences below:
