Please note that The Robertson Trust has published its new Giving Strategy. This sets out the priorities we will have when awarding funds through our open grants programme. The existing application form and guidelines can still be used until July 31st. In line with our existing procedures, we will aim to assess and present all applications received by this date to our September Board meeting. In the event that we are unable to do so, your application may be held until our November meeting. In such cases a member of staff will contact you and provide any assistance required to realign your application with the new Giving Strategy. Find out all you need to know here.
Since 1992 The Trust has identified and assisted over 1000 young Scots who have the ability, but not necessarily the means, to get the most out of a university education.
As well as financial support, at the heart of our bursary award is a dedicated training and mentoring programme called Journey to Success, devised to ensure scholars are able to maximise their potential at university and compete successfully for graduate level jobs. Over 150 undergraduates are now supported through Journey to Success across Scotland each year.
With the application process underway for 2019, who else better to bring the Journey to Success to life than those currently on the programme? Over the next few weeks, we will be asking some of our current Robertson Scholars to tell us about their experiences and offer some advice to potential future scholars. Next up is 2nd year University of Edinburgh student, Coll Drury.
