Coronavirus response

Please note that The Robertson Trust has published its new Giving Strategy. This sets out the priorities we will have when awarding funds through our open grants programme. The existing application form and guidelines can still be used until July 31st. In line with our existing procedures, we will aim to assess and present all applications received by this date to our September Board meeting. In the event that we are unable to do so, your application may be held until our November meeting. In such cases a member of staff will contact you and provide any assistance required to realign your application with the new Giving Strategy. Find out all you need to know here.

The Robertson Trust recognises that the Coronavirus presents an extraordinary challenge to the way our communities currently support one another, as well as to each of us in our daily lives.

We are already seeing how communities are pulling together and offering support to each other and at The Trust we are considering how best to respond and support our third sector partners during this challenging time.

We will strive to be as flexible and responsive to the needs of communities and organisations during the coming weeks and months as possible, so that the sector can focus on delivering essential support for those most in need across Scotland.

We are taking time to ensure our response is clear, helpful and informed by the latest government guidance. Where possible, we will also seek to work in partnership with other Trusts and Foundations.  We will be proactive in our communication with the sector and current grant holders but in this interim period, please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for any other updates.

Currently, our venues in Glasgow and Stirling are still operational however we would encourage you to follow our social media feeds for updates.

Stay safe and take care.
