Annual Review 2018-19 launched

Please note that The Robertson Trust has published its new Giving Strategy. This sets out the priorities we will have when awarding funds through our open grants programme. The existing application form and guidelines can still be used until July 31st. In line with our existing procedures, we will aim to assess and present all applications received by this date to our September Board meeting. In the event that we are unable to do so, your application may be held until our November meeting. In such cases a member of staff will contact you and provide any assistance required to realign your application with the new Giving Strategy. Find out all you need to know here.

We are pleased to bring you our Annual Review for 2018-19, which can be downloaded here.

In response to data and feedback from previous years, we've made this year's Review more compact and visual than ever before, focusing on what we hope is the most interesting and relevant information for the sector.
 
Over the past year, we've been producing content on our website more regularly around our areas of work. As such, there is a far stronger focus in this year's Review on linking to live resources on our website, which will ensure the content remains as up-to-date and relevant as possible; something that is particularly important in light of our ongoing strategy renewal process.

Key information from this year's Review includes:
 
  • £18,004,500 awarded to 579 charities through our Open Awards
  • £1,870,000 invested in our Journey to Success programme, which supported 631 scholars in 2018/19
  • 9 live social impact programmes within our thematic areas of interest
  • 27 third sector tenants in Robertson House, Glasgow, our first charity hub...
  • ...which will shortly be followed by our new 30,000 sq ft hub in Stirling
