Please note that The Robertson Trust has published its new Giving Strategy. This sets out the priorities we will have when awarding funds through our open grants programme. The existing application form and guidelines can still be used until July 31st. In line with our existing procedures, we will aim to assess and present all applications received by this date to our September Board meeting. In the event that we are unable to do so, your application may be held until our November meeting. In such cases a member of staff will contact you and provide any assistance required to realign your application with the new Giving Strategy. Find out all you need to know here.

This means you will no longer be able to access our online application forms. If you sent us your
application by the 28 February 2020 closing date, we will assess this and advise you whether it has
been successful in line with our current procedures which are as follows:

  • Main Award applications will be assessed for a decision at our June 2020 Giving Committee
  • Small and Continuation Award applications will be assessed for a decision within approximately 8 weeks

If you are currently in receipt of funding from us our reporting and award release processes will remain unchanged.

We will be launching our new Strategy in Summer 2020 and are not able to respond to enquiries for potential new funding applications until the new Strategy is in place.

Our new Strategy will have a stronger focus on addressing poverty and trauma, their causes and impact.
