Are you a constituted community group or small registered charity? Are you looking for funding of £500-£2,000 to support your work? If so, we have some very exciting news!
On Thursday, 27th June, we’re launching a new pilot, Wee Grants for Wee Groups, which will be open to organisations with an annual income of up to £100,000. For the first time, this will also include constituted groups with charitable aims, as well as registered charities.
We expect the pilot to last for six months, during which time eligible organisations can apply for up to £2,000 and projects/services can be fully funded, providing the work is a good fit with our funding strands!
To help us launch, we are looking for eight groups to attend a ‘Making an Application’ workshop at Robertson House in Glasgow, with a view to becoming the first applicants. This will run from 10am until 12 noon on launch day (27th June) and allow us to introduce the programme and help you to complete an application form.
Don’t worry if you’re not asked to come to the workshop on this occasion, you can still apply! Full details will be on our website soon and you can get in touch with us after launch day with any questions you might have. We are also looking at opportunities for other events across the country.
Interested? Contact us to reserve a space! (PLEASE NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL)
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes recently to finalise the details of Wee Grants for Wee Groups ahead of its launch day. Although we won't be able to accept any applications or enquiries until then, we would ask those interested to keep an eye on our website and social channels as we will be sharing more information shortly.
