Voices: Roxburgh & Berwickshire Citizens Advice Bureau

The latest group is Roxburgh & Berwickshire Citizens Advice Bureau who offer free, impartial and confidential advice on a range of topics, giving their local community the information they need to deal with any situation and improve their lives.

In our Voices series, we share the stories and opinions from our funded organisations that are helping to find solutions to poverty and trauma in Scotland. The latest group is our Friends of Scottish Settlers, a charity working to welcome refugees and all newcomers to the Falkirk district.
Responding to immediate need
We were pleased to inform our current revenue grantholders (those supported under our 2020-30 strategy) that we will shortly be making an additional payment, effectively an uplift to their current grant, to help cope with immediate pressures.
Over £1.6M awarded to organisations across Scotland in November
We are delighted to announce our funding recipients from November 2022. 65 organisations received just over £1.6M to support their work to alleviate poverty and trauma across Scotland.

The latest group is our Clued Up, a Kirkcaldy-based charity established to provide substance use support and information service to young people under 25 in Fife.

The latest group is Grampian Women's Aid, a charity providing specialist domestic abuse support services for women, children and young people in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Voices: Glasgow Council on Alcohol
In our Voices series, we share the stories and opinions from our funded organisations that are helping to find solutions to poverty and trauma in Scotland. The latest group is Glasgow Council on Alcohol, who were established to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and/or substance misuse through advice, information, counselling, support, prevention, education, and training to address inequalities and improve health and wellbeing.
Over £1.4M awarded to organisations across Scotland in September
We are delighted to announce our funding recipients from September 2022. 49 organisations received just over £1.4M to support their work to alleviate poverty and trauma across Scotland.

The latest group is The Energy Advisory Service (TEAS), a Stornoway based charity supporting people living in fuel poverty and extreme fuel poverty across the Western Isles.
Introducing our new Programme Award
We are excited to share details of a new Programme Award launched this week. We are calling for proposals on big change that lasts under our theme of Financial Security. Closing date for Stage 1 Applications is 23rd November 2022.

The latest group is Low-Income Families Together (LIFT), a community led support and advocacy service, offering a key working, family-focused support service model to tackle poverty in Edinburgh.
