Annual Review 2016/17

Please note that The Robertson Trust has published its new Giving Strategy. This sets out the priorities we will have when awarding funds through our open grants programme. The existing application form and guidelines can still be used until July 31st. In line with our existing procedures, we will aim to assess and present all applications received by this date to our September Board meeting. In the event that we are unable to do so, your application may be held until our November meeting. In such cases a member of staff will contact you and provide any assistance required to realign your application with the new Giving Strategy. Find out all you need to know here.

Key statistics for 2016/17 include:

  • £14,055,250 awarded to 510 organisations through our open awards - this year's Annual Review includes more data on these awards, including geographical split, existing vs new ratio and application success rates
  • Seven awards totalling almost £1.3 million invested in our Innovation and Learning programmes - find out more about the team's current themes and future priorities
  • 453 undergraduates supported through our Scholarship team's bursary programme - find out more about the destinations of some of our graduates
  • £3.6 million invested in a new charity hub in Stirling

This year's Annual Review also includes introductions from each team, reflecting on 2016/17 and setting out plans for the future, as well as Dame Barbara Kelly's final column as Chairman of the Trust.
