Setting Your Outcomes

Please note that The Robertson Trust has published its new Giving Strategy. This sets out the priorities we will have when awarding funds through our open grants programme. The existing application form and guidelines can still be used until July 31st. In line with our existing procedures, we will aim to assess and present all applications received by this date to our September Board meeting. In the event that we are unable to do so, your application may be held until our November meeting. In such cases a member of staff will contact you and provide any assistance required to realign your application with the new Giving Strategy. Find out all you need to know here.

The Robertson Trust aims to make a positive difference to people’s lives with the grants we make. We ask applicants and grant holders to tell us what they intend to achieve and what difference they hope to make, by providing us with Outcomes and Activities.

If you applied to us for funding after 1st August 2016, we will have asked you to provide Outcomes and Activities in your application form. At the end of each grant year, we will ask you to provide updated Outcomes and Activities for the year ahead within your End of Year Report. Please refer to our Guidance Document for help with writing your Outcomes and Activities.

If you applied to us prior to 1st August 2016 and were successful, we may have asked you to complete an Outcomes and Activities form as part of the release conditions of your grant. If you have not yet drawn down your funding, you will need to complete this form before we can pay your grant. The above guidance document will help you to do this.
